Pois bem, o post de hoje não é para dizer que Laurent Moisset tinha razão, pois houve de facto, três anos após o mesmo ter escrito isto, um fenómeno que, na altura, nos veio a fazer pensar que as nossas fundações mais seguras estavam em perigo. Felizmente soubemos, tal como disse o jornalista francês, renovar a nossa imagem e mostrar que o Benfica é uma lenda, voltando à alegria desportiva, a engrandecer ainda mais o palmarés, e chegar aos tempos recentes em que temos vivido tempos felizes.
O texto, que sempre vi como uma das melhores referências ao clube de todos nós, feito por uma pessoa externa ao clube, sempre foi visto quase como um mito. Mas não, ele existe mesmo, e a prova chegou hoje às minhas mãos.
Eis a edição de 12 de Novembro de 1991 da France Football, onde o texto está incluído, numa peça alusiva à mítica exibição do Benfica em Highbury Park.
